After Brenham, we headed to Galveston. We arrived Saturday around dinnertime and checked into the Red Roof Inn. The location is perfect for what we wanted, right at 61st and the seawall. We walked next door to Tortuga for dinner.
Easter Sunday brought perfect springtime beach weather. It was sunny and 80 degrees. The beaches were clean of any trash or seaweed. Pretty pristine for Galveston. We spent most of the day playing on the sand and in the water.
