A friend from our men’s bible study owns a large property on the Southlake/Keller border, complete with horses, chickens and a pond for fishing. The first Sat of every month he opens up his property for what he calls Ranch Day. Single mothers and their children are welcome to come enjoy the property and partake in the garage sale where everything is free for them. They have hayrides and allow the kids to fish and ride the horses. We went as a family to volunteer and help out. The Zimmermans were there, as Brooklyn set up a table for her Power to the Period ministry and was handing out free sanitary supplies to the women there.
There were plenty of volunteers and Taylor got to enjoy some things too, including catching his first fish
